ACAWT Industrial Management Training Provides the Subject Matter for First Webcast
On Friday, July 15, 2005, the Alabama Center for Advanced Woodworking Technology, in the course of hosting a series of management and supervision short courses for a large Alabama furniture manufacturer, transmitted audio and video of today's session to one of the manufacturer's remote facilities.  Instructor Pat Hubka taught the Effective Leadership course to a number of local attendees, as well as attendees from a facility over 400 miles away viewing via the Internet.  The ACAWT has plans to offer many other courses via the Internet in the near future.

Instructor Pat Hubka welcomes the attendees.

Attendees participate in exercises to build leadership skills.

Mike Van Rensselaer of HR Advantage, instructor of upcoming seminars at the ACAWT, introduces himself to the group.

ACAWT director James Glasgow operates the center's new Sony DCR-HC1000 camera for the first webcast.
