ACAWT Hosts Tour for
Teens |

In March of 2007, ACAWT staff hosted a
tour of the center for local teens. The tour was part of an
event planned by Northwest Shoals Community College, Franklin County
Community Education, and the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce.
The event, Teen Explosion, was the first of its kind to give
Franklin County 8th graders a better understanding of how to best
plan for their future jobs. The event placed a special
emphasis on deciding which diploma to choose as they enter high
school. Students were treated to a guest speaker at the
college, and a tour of the campus plus its surrounding facilities.
