Congressional Industrial Tour |

Director James Glasgow and Production and Finishing Specialist Bruce
Jackson attended the 2005 4th Congressional District Agriculture and
Industry Tour hosted by U.S. Representative Robert Aderholt on
August 25 and 26. The tour included
visits to
- Mueller Company's highly
recognized lean manufacturing operation, which is world's
largest producer of fire hydrants (Albertville)
- Guntersville Dam
- Dean Sausage (Attalla)
- Timberlake Alpaca Farm
(Glencoe), and
- Will's Creek Vineyards
(Attalla).
During the breakfast meeting, Director Glasgow discussed
proposals regarding forest products industry expansion. |
