Directions

From the north (Russellville, The Shoals, Lawrenceburg TN):
Take US Highway 43 south through Russellville.  Turn right at the caution light at the top of Spruce Pine Mountain to stay on US 43/AL 17.  Continue for four miles; turn left onto College Road (follow sign for Northwest-Shoals Community College).  Campus is two miles on the right; enter campus and follow sign to ACAWT (Local Map).  Interactive Map

From the north (Nashville, Middle Tennessee excluding Lawrenceburg):
Take I-65 south to Huntsville.  Take Exit 340 (I-565/AL 20).  Exit onto AL 20 west.  Follow directions from Decatur at the bottom of this page.  Interactive Map

From the northwest (Henderson TN, Jackson TN):  Take US 45 south to Corinth, MS.  Follow directions from Corinth below.  Interactive Map

From the west (Memphis TN, Corinth MS, Iuka MS):  Take US 72 east to Mississippi.  Continue on US 72 across Mississippi to Tuscumbia, Alabama.  At the large intersection in Tuscumbia, turn right to take US 43 south to Russellville.  Follow directions from Russellville above.  Interactive Map

From the west (Tupelo MS):  Take US 78 east to Hamilton, Alabama.  Exit onto US 43 north (Exit 16).  Follow directions from Hamilton (listed below).  Interactive Map

From the southwest (Sulligent, Vernon, Columbus MS):  Columbus: Take MS 12 to Alabama; becomes AL 18.  In Vernon, turn left to take AL 17 north.  Continue north on AL 17 to Hamilton; turn left onto US 43 north; follow directions from Hamilton (listed below).  Interactive Map

From the south excluding Tuscaloosa (Hamilton, Winfield, Guin, Fayette):
Take US Highway 43 north.  After entering Franklin County, proceed north four miles.  Turn right at College Road.   Campus is two miles on the right; enter campus and follow sign to ACAWT.  Interactive Map

From the south including Tuscaloosa (Haleyville, Double Springs, Jasper, Tuscaloosa, all points south of Tuscaloosa):  Take US Highway 43 north out of Tuscaloosa/Northport.  At the intersection with Alabama 13, do not turn; proceed north on Alabama 13.  Follow Alabama 13 north through Eldridge, Natural Bridge, Haleyville, and Bear Creek.  In Phil Campbell, turn left onto Alabama 237 south.  Proceed 1/2 mile; turn right on Franklin County Road 12 (College Road).  Proceed west for 2 miles; campus is on the left.  Enter campus and follow sign to ACAWT (Local Map).  Double Springs:  Take AL 195 to Haleyville; take AL 13 north and follow directions as listed from Haleyville.  Jasper:  Take AL 5 north.  Continue north at 4-way stop with US 278; highway becomes AL 13.  Follow directions from Natural Bridge as listed.  Interactive Map

From the southeast (including Cullman, Birmingham, all points south and/or east of Birmingham such as Mobile, Montgomery, and Atlanta):  From Birmingham, take I-65 north.  Take Exit 310 (AL 157).  Stay on AL 157 north to Moulton.  Turn left on AL 24 in Moulton; continue 26 miles to Russellville.  Exit onto US 43 south in Russellville.  Follow directions from Russellville (listed above).  Interactive Map

From the east (Moulton, Decatur, Huntsville, Chattanooga):
Take US 72 west to Huntsville.  US 72 becomes I-565/US 72A.  Stay on I-565 for 21 miles; highway becomes US 72A/AL 20 in Decatur.  In Decatur:  Stay on US 72A/AL 20 west across the Tennessee River; turn right at the first traffic light past the bridge to stay on US 72A/AL 20.  Proceed west for three miles to the intersection with AL 67 (Beltline Rd).  Turn left onto AL 67.  Proceed south for one mile to the interchange with AL 24.  Exit onto AL 24 west (Moulton exit).  Proceed approximately 40 miles west to Russellville.  Exit onto US 43 south in Russellville.  Follow directions from Russellville (listed above).  Moulton:  Take AL 24 west to Russellville (approximately 26 miles).  Follow directions from Russellville (listed above).  Interactive Map
