ACAWT in partnership with the Alabama Forestry Association held a continuing education seminar for recertification on September 10, 2009. Over 40 participants attended the all day seminar. Some of the topics covered in the seminar included are: controlling invasive species, fuel depot update, fuel co-op, reforestation justification, genetics update, BMP’s, trucking, precision harvesting, and GPS systems. International Paper sponsored the lunch and breaks.
